Southwest Florida
DOG PARKS
Collier County has a leash law which is strictly enforced at all times. However, there are a couple of parks that you can let your dogs run free and have fun and socialize with other dogs. One park is located in north Naples and the other park is a dog beach in Lee County just across the river from Bonita Beach. Many of the parks permit you to walk your dogs as long as on a leash i.e. Cambier Park, Lowdermilk Park, etc.
Collier County Law - max 3 dogs per household.
Lovers Key Dog Beach, Bonita Springs
The Dog Beach is conveniently located next to the Lovers Key State Park. This large sandbar on the north shore of New Pass is one of the few beaches in the region where dogs are allowed (max 2 dogs per adult). It’s the perfect place to spend the day sunbathing with canine friends. Typically crowded on weekends. Nice spot to watch the sun set over New Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of free parking and beautiful scenery at nearby Lovers Key State Park. Directions: Heading north on Highway 41, make a left on Bonita Beach Road, which turns into Hickory Boulevard. Once you cross the bridge and leave the residential area the road becomes Bonita Beach Causeway. The Dog Beach sign will be on the left approximately 1 mile further north immediately west of the New Pass Bridge. Open from dawn to dusk.

Veterans Community Park, Naples
Located on the south side of Immokalee Rd between Airport Rd and US41. The Rover Run Dog Park is the place where people love to bring their dogs to bask in Southwest Florida's beautiful sunshine. This is currently the only dog park in Collier County and the only location where pets are allowed. There is both a small dog area and a larger dog area. So if you have a smaller pet, not to worry, larger dogs are separated for your pet's safety. Hours: It is open daily from dawn to dusk.
